"Wildflowers"
"Wildflowers" Blue Ribbon - Youth
I chose a pattern for a wall quilt that had a blue background with fish appliques, but I found a lot of green fabrics that I liked and decided to make a green background with flower appliques. I also decided to make it a lap quilt size since that would be more useful. I was originally going to call it "flowerbed" or something like that, but when I found the wild paint splatter fabric for the back piece, I decided to call it "Wildflowers". The clovers fabric on the border was inspired by being a part of my local 4H quilt club.
