Native Blanket White Ribbon - Adult

Native Blanket original pattern is lovely in shades of brown and white, but at first glance, the color turquoise came to my mind to make this pattern really pop. I am glad I chose that color to substitute for the medium brown and am happy with the other browns, rust and cream colors. I also used the turquoise in the hand-stitched flange binding. My first attempt at working with triangles, diamonds and column construction was a real challenge. Kokopelli and arrowhead quilting designs as well as the perfect backing fabric greatly enhances the Native American spirit of this quilt.
