Aspiring Stars Modified Blue Ribbon - Adult

This quilt was made using a basic Aspiring Stars quilt pattern by Michelle Hiatt and adding several modifications made with an array of beautiful Batiks, many from my "stash". This sampler type quilt sparked my eye as a way to use a multitude of beautiful colors with many different batiks. The custom machine quilting was done by Carol Duque using a gold color for the assorted colored fabrics and dark black gray on all of the background pieces. The quilt measures approximately 94" X 94".
