Tiny Blossoms Blue Ribbon - Adult

Tiny Blossoms is inspired by Tilda's design Flower Vase which was a much larger quilt using 2" squares. I chose to scale it down to a mini by making it using 1" squares which resulted in 1/2" finished squares. Tiny Blossoms has approximately 50 different colors of fabric to bring this pixel design to life. Tiny Blossoms was quilted using Monopoly thread by Superior so that the thread from the quilting did not take away from the design itself, this clear thread was the perfect choice to achieve the look I desired. Straight Line quilting is what I chose because I wanted it quilted pretty heavy, and the "irregular" lines helps give it texture. I love making mini quilts and Tiny Blossoms was a fun experience for me.
