My best friend and I opened a quilt shop together 8 years ago. We named our shop "Two Chicks Quilting"! The logo we designed was of two "chicks" that had a few of our own personal features such as glasses and height, etc. I made this collage quilt (a replica of our logo) for her as a Christmas gift. After one year, the shop was so successful it was taking much of my family time. I also had a full-time career and was in the middle of obtaining a doctoral degree. So, I sold my half of the shop back to my friend in order for me to focus on my career and she took off and made her quilt shop dreams come true! She kept the name for the shop and our friendship can still best be described as "Two Chicks Quilting"!
