"Stars In My Garden"

"Stars in My Garden" was a pattern I picked up several years ago and rediscovered while going thru my pattern drawer.
I love stars of any kind and decided to use fabrics from my stash to make the 70 odd stars in the quilt. I tried not
to duplicate the fabrics which are all cottons. The half square triangles in the borders are mostly left overs that
have accumulated from other projects. The applique in the outer border was fused on and then sewn on by
machine with a buttonhole stitch (in most cases using matching thread). The background fabric was meant for another
project but completed "Stars in My Garden" perfectly.
