In The Garden

In The Garden, Machine Quilting
In The Garden White Ribbon - Adult
I started the idea of this quilt many years ago as a college student. My Grandma Noodle gave me the money to start buying some fabric and an EX Quilter ruler. It was supposed to be a wedding quilt but that relationship ended, so I didn't start the quilt, I put my ideas away. I took it out again after I got married a few years ago and thought maybe I would start it, but it was not the right time, so the sketches went away again. Two years ago, I found out I was going to have a baby so I thought maybe I would finally start this quilt. However, I put it away again as it's not suitable for a boy. Then this year my niece Daucie started working on her quilt so came over to use my long arm. While at my house she saw my drawings and encouraged me to finally construct this quilt that held so many initial attempts and needed to finally become a quilt just for me. It was finally the right time. My Grandma does not know I have finished it. If you know Noodle you will just have to help me keep a secret till the big reveal.
