Bluebonnet White Ribbon - Adult

Hello. My name is Natalie Carroll and I love to make quilts.

Quilting is something that has been done for years. I learned a lot about quilting from my mother in law. I watched as she would choose her fabric, cut all of the pieces required and then sew them together. She would then sandwich some batting between the quilt top and bottom fabric and then hand quilt around it.

This particular quilt pattern was chosen from a Summer Sew Along, in October of 2022, with a quilter named Karen Montgomery. Karen would post a new video every Sunday evening on Facebook live and that is how we learned how to cut the fabric and then piece it together.

I chose the Texas Bluebonnet fabric due to it being the state flower of Texas. And who doesn’t love a Bluebonnet?
